🌈 Every Month Has a Birthstone. This Necklace Has Six of Them.

January has garnet. February has amethyst. June has moonstone. August has peridot. November has citrine. December has blue topaz. And this necklace has all of them — plus labradorite — hand wire-wrapped stone by stone into a single 36-inch strand of pure, unapologetic color.

This is not a mass-produced piece. It was made by hand by Catherina Bishopp in the USA using the rosary-style wire-wrapping technique, where every stone — from the smallest garnet rondelle to the largest labradorite teardrop — is individually wrapped in fine sterling silver wire and linked loop to loop. There is no separate chain. The stones are the chain. And the result is a necklace that moves like water, sparkles like a prism, and wears like nothing else you own.

💎 THE SEVEN GEMSTONES

Gemstone Color Shape & Size Role in Design
London Blue Topaz Medium vivid aqua-blue Faceted briolette teardrop, 6–8mm Large drop — primary accent stone
Peridot Electric lime-apple green Faceted briolette teardrop, 5–7mm Large drop — vivid color contrast
Amethyst Medium purple-lavender Faceted briolette teardrop, 5–7mm Large drop — rich jewel tone
Citrine Warm amber-golden yellow Faceted briolette teardrop, 5–7mm Large drop — warm sunny accent
Labradorite Smoky grey with iridescent flash Faceted briolette teardrop, 6–9mm (LARGEST) Large drop — mysterious focal stone
Moonstone Milky white with adularescent glow Faceted teardrop, 4–6mm Large drop — luminous light stone
Garnet Deep red to orange-red Small faceted rondelle, 2–4mm Spacer bead — warm rich accent

Additional accent rondelles in pink, green, and teal tourmaline appear throughout, adding depth and organic variety to the palette.

✋ HOW IT'S MADE

Every stone in this necklace is individually hand wire-wrapped in fine .925 sterling silver wire using the traditional rosary-chain technique. Each faceted briolette teardrop is top-drilled and wrapped at its tip with a neat coil of sterling silver wire, then linked to the next stone via a formed loop — creating a continuous, flexible strand with no separate chain component whatsoever.

The result is a necklace of approximately 150–200 large gemstone drops and 400–600 small rondelle spacers — hand-worked, one stone at a time, from start to finish. This is the kind of craftsmanship that simply cannot be replicated by a machine.

🪷 TWO WAYS TO WEAR IT

Wear it long (36") — A sweeping opera-length drop over a simple white tee, open-collar blouse, or little black dress. The briolette drops catch the light and swing gently with every move — a quiet statement that draws every eye.

Wear it doubled (18") — Loop it twice for a lush two-strand layered look sitting at the collarbone and chest. The mix of colors reads as a garden of gemstones — effortlessly bohemian, unmistakably intentional.

Layer it — Its fine, fluid form pairs beautifully with shorter silver necklaces for an editorial stacked look.

🛠️ CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Store flat or coiled gently in the provided pouch or a soft-lined jewelry box. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals to preserve the sterling silver wire finish. Polish gently with a dry silver polishing cloth. The sterling silver wire will develop a natural patina over time that many wearers find adds to the organic, artisan character of the piece
